...is sterling silver "waterproof"?? ..A sterling ID braclet, can it just be left on all the time, in the shower...etc......or will it turn color.....etc. If so, ..what material for an ID braclet can be continously worn without getting ruined? Titanium?...thanks
If it is pure sterling silver it can be work all the time. It will not turn colors or anything like that. In fact the more you wear them the less tarnished they will become. If they do get tarnished and dirty looking it is very easy to clean. Just take an aluminum pan or line a small bowl with aluminum foil and add some baking soda, then add some boiling hot water to it. Add jewelry for a few seconds and remove, rinse and pat dry, polish with a microfiber cloth. And VOILA you will have sparkling clean, beautiful sterling silver jewelry.
