Marc Jacobs, Robert Duffy and Alejandro Santo Domingo Show Support at Aid for Aids Gala (thepoliticker.observer)
Entering the Aid for Aids gala last night, _The Observer_ suddenly felt like a
tourist. Flocks of Latina beauties were chattering away in Spanish, posing for
photographs and ordering drinks as we walked in the room. Struggling to

appeared with his husband **Alex Cespedes**. The couple was being honored at
the gala for the work they have done raising both funds and awareness about
the disease. Mr. Duffy hobbled in on crutches. "I had my hip replaced five
weeks ago," he told _The Observer_. And how is he feeling? "Like I had my hip

event was indicated by hundreds of flashbulbs and a flurry of photographers
clamoring (in both English and Spanish) for the designer to look in their
