How to insert the sheet name of an excel workbook in a cell?
We can insert a file name with using =cell("filename") in an excell worksheet. But I am not able to insert only the sheet name (no other prefixes) in a cell. Please guide me.
I received two answers, but the question is not read properly. I want the sheet name in a cell and not as a page header or footer, nor do i want to rename the sheet name.
Use this formula
=MID(CELL("filename",A1),FIND("]",
CELL("filename",A1))+1,256)
Where A1 is any non error cell on the Worksheet.
Make Sure the file is saved.
