Tampa Bay Lightning not rushing back its injured players (St. Petersburg Times)

TAMPA -- What is the timetable for the Lightning to get back its injured
stars? The question brought various answers from coach **Guy Boucher**.
LW **Ryan Malone** (upper body) might be ready for the weekend. D **Victor
Hedman** (upper body) will take longer, perhaps up to two weeks. And D
**Mattias Ohlund** (knees), who has yet to play a regular-season game, "is not
close."
Boucher said he had no new information on Malone or Hedman. Ohlund, who had
arthroscopic surgeries on both knees to clean out what the team called loose
bodies, is skating on his own but lightly.
"He can't get a shock treatment right now," Boucher said. "He has to gradually
get his speed back and get some pounding on his knees and legs while he's
skating. Right now he can't do any abrupt movements."
GM **Steve Yzerman** has said Ohlund could be out up to two months.
"The surgery he had went fine," Boucher said. "But the doctors told us it
could take that much time, more or less."
