Help Need Figure Skates!!?
ok so i have some skates but i think i should get new ones. My pro shop only sells riedell, so i went to their website and checked out some skates. They said, however that the skates i have (red ribbon 117) is usually for snowplow sam (i do usfsa). I'm currently in freeskate 1 but i know most of my jumps and know some things from freeskate 6.
*The HLS 1500 ($439)is said to be for seniors
*The elite royal 900($523) is for FS6, novice, junior and seniors
*the Gold Star 375 ($348)- FS5,6, juvenlie, intermediate, novice, junior and seniors
*Silver star 355 ($313) FS 3,4, preliminary, juvenile, intermediate nad novice
*bronze star 320 ($278)- basic 6, FS1-4, preliminary, juvenile, and intermediate.
What are your opinions. Please help me. thanks in advanced ♥
you're right, Riedell red ribbon 117 skates are too low for you.
all of the skates you listed above are presumably good skates, but which skates are right for you I do not know. you should probably ask the people at the pro shop what skates would be good for you where you are now.
(note about the website reference: I currently have Riedell 280 boots that come with Sapphire blades. although on the website they are recommended only up to Freestyle 2 (USFSA Learn-to-Skate, not ISI), I have been doing almost all the single jumps with them and they work fine for me.)
